SMC’s DualGuard Auto-Lock Lite Steel Carabiner – NFPA is easily used with one hand and is lightweight alloy steel. Once the gate is released, it is closed to a fully locked position and stainless steel sleeves provide smooth operation.
The offset “D” shape provides a smooth transfer of the munter hitch when used as a belay. The SMC DualGuard Carabiner has enough volume to accommodate large diameter ropes and clip over the rails of most litters.
